FUSION FREEZE 4
The tribal and Fusion Bellydance Festival in Ghent (BE)
Fusion Breeze/ Freeze is a small independent tribal fusion bellydance festival in Ghent, Belgium. It was founded in 2015 by Teuta to promote tribal and fusion bellydance in Belgium, and to give dancers of all levels a stage to shine on. Connecting Tribal fusion belly dancers and dance lovers of all ages, nationalities and levels, encouraging diversity and building bridges between different cultures and countries, the Fusion Breeze / Freeze Festival has become a crossroad where national and international dancers, dance lovers, teachers, choreographers and troupes are gathered twice a year . The festival aims to be a cozy, friendly and personal place where everyone feels welcome and knows each others name. Next to connecting dancers, the festival strives to give dancers more body awareness, by programming different movement and bodywork workshops, like yoga and massage workshops.
This year it's time for the 4th edition of Fusion Freeze, and we will make it a special one! We have a beautiful international teacher team, with guest teachers from the UK, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. We have a varied workshop program for you: from romantic tribal fusion to tribal fusion madness to anatomy and meditation workshops. You will find it all at this years' Fusion Freeze. Next to the workshops we also have a wonderful show on Saturday evening and an opening party on Friday. So a full program this year. Don't miss out!

Stefanie Delilah (NL)
Stefanie has been dancing most of her life. Her first steps into the world of dance were in ballet and jazz ballet classes. Later she explored the worlds of salsa dancing and hip hop until she discovered Tribal Fusion Bellydance through Tjarda van Straten. For about 10 years she studied this form of dance intensively, participating in many workshops with some of the greatest teachers in the Tribal Fusion Bellydance scene. She has been part of Tjarda van Straten's Amano Project from the beginning and created dances and performed in many Tribal Fusion Bellydance Festivals in The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Croatia. She performed with her own choreographies in a few editions of the Shimmy Shake Festival and worked as a performance artist at festivals in The Netherlands. She also travelled to Brazil to study Silvestre Technique and Afro-Brazilian dances with Rosangela Silvestre, with whom she continues to study whenever she can. Over the years, her interest in dance has shifted from studying different styles of dance to the study of dance and movement as a healing practice. At the moment Stefanie is completing her studies of Dance and Movement Therapy and is specializing in the use of dance and movement for the prevention and reduction of stress and burn out. She is also a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. She teaches dance meditation and yoga in Amsterdam.

That's why she has started Dancers in Business, a coaching program specifically designed for dance and movement teachers who want to make a living out of their dance. During Fusion Freeze she will be teaching a workshop about Dance Entrepreneurship.
