1. CLASSES

The following terms and conditions are valid for all classes organized by Teuta.

Registration

Students are only fully enrolled after complete payment of the class fee. After sending the subscription form they will receive an email confirming enrollment, including payment details. If a student doesn’t pay within the agreed time stated in the email, his/ her spot can be given to someone else on the waiting list.

Cancellation

If a student cancels his/ her enrollment 10 or more days before the session starts the class fee will be refunded with a deduction of €5 administration fee. If the cancellation is less than 10 days before the session starts, then no refunds can be given. The student can however, after consulting Teuta, have someone else take his/ her place. Finding the substitute is a responsibility of the student.

Transferring class payments to another session is not possible.

Exception: Students who miss at least 3 classes of a class series, because of severe and unexpected medical reasons, can get a refund in the form of a class credit voucher. The vouchers worth is 75% of the amount payed for the missed classes, starting from the day Teuta is informed. This voucher can be used for any of Teuta's class series that take place within 1 year after the absence of student.

This applies only if the following conditions are met:

  • The student informs Teuta about his/ her absence within 2 weeks after his/ her absence
  • The student delivers a valid medical certificate or doctor’s note.

Teuta reserves the right to cancel a class session should there be insufficient enrollments or in case of illness/unavailability. If this occurs the class session will be refunded to the participant in full, but no additional damages are paid to participants. In case only part of a class session is cancelled then this part will be refunded.

Missing Classes

There is no refund in case classes that are paid for are missed. In case a student misses a class, (s)he can, after consulting Teuta, make up for the class in one of the other groups that are parallel with the class they are in. Classes that have been missed during a semester can only be made up for in the same semester.

Photo and video release

Photographs and/or videos may be taken during classes. These photographs and videos may be used by Teuta for promotional, educational, and informational purposes including, but not limited to, social media, brochures, websites, newsletters, photo publications, and press without compensation. These photographs and/or videos are the sole intellectual property of Teuta and the photographer.

Liability

Teuta does not offer insurance for student property that is lost, stolen or damaged. All items, including electronics, are brought to the studio at the item owner’s own risk. Students are allowed to take their valuable items with them into the class room during class.

Any damages to the studio grounds and interior of the studio are to be paid by the party causing the damage.

Participating in classes is at own risk. As a student you declare to be in good health and to understand that the organizers and teacher are not responsible for any accidents or injuries incurred during class time. If you have specific pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. injuries, illness) or in case of pregnancy, please seek the advice of your doctor beforehand and make sure to inform the teacher of your condition(s).

Our company is Dance School Teuta. We provide services relating to supplying dance training, dance events, and coaching. Our registered address is Ooilamstraat, 9000 Gent. (note this is not our studio address)

When you register for classes, workshops or events at Dance School Teuta, we collect contact information such as your address, phone number,  e-mail address and date of birth.

When you register for our newsletter, Mailchimp collects your name and email address.

WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FROM YOU?

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and other information that you consent to provide on our website contact form.  Some of the information is required. This information is needed to manage studio business and will not be used or sold for any other purpose, except as described below. Some of the information is optional. Optional information is requested to help us better understand our customers and is used only as needed for studio business. This information will not be used or sold for any other purposes, except as described below.

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?

We may use your information to:

– seek your feedback on the services we provide

– notify you of relevant changes to our services

– send you communications and newsletters which you have requested and that may be of interest to you 

Dance School Teuta will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with Dance School Teuta.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?

– We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third-party service providers, agents subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf. However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service. Our Web site will link to other Web sites and services from time to time. We will always attempt to associate with only the most trustworthy partners who share our high standards regarding privacy. Nevertheless, we are not responsible for the content of and privacy practices of any other companies or Web sites.

YOUR CHOICES

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. 2. WORKSHOPS

The following terms and conditions are valid for all workshops organized by Teuta.

Registration

Dancers are only fully enrolled after complete payment of the workshop fee. After sending the subscription form they will receive an email confirming enrollment, including payment details. If a dancer doesn’t pay within the agreed time stated in the email, his/ her spot can be given to someone else.

Cancellation

Workshop registration is binding. No refunds will be offered under any circumstances, unless the workshop is cancelled. Teuta can not be held responsible for any workshop missed because of dancers' inability to attend due to transport delays, strikes, weather, injuries, illness, personal loss, or any other reason.

The dancer can however, after consulting Teuta, have someone else take his/ her place. Finding the substitute is a responsibility of the dancer.

Transferring workshop payments to another session is not possible.

Teuta reserves the right to cancel a workshop should there be insufficient enrollments or in case of illness/unavailability of the workshop instructor. If this occurs the workshop fee will be refunded to the participant in full, but no additional damages are paid to participants. In case only part of a workshop series is cancelled then this part will be refunded.

Payment

We accept payments via Bank Transfer.

Any fees such as International Bank Transfer fees will need to be covered by the participant.

Photo and video release

3. INDIVIDUAL COACHING SESSIONS 

The following terms and conditions are valid for all individual coaching sessions scheduled with Teuta

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation of a session by client must be made via email to dance@teuta.be at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
  • If client cancels within less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time, they will be billed for 100% of the cost of their appointment.
  • Clients who fail to show up for a scheduled appointment (“no show”) are billed for the full cost of their scheduled session.
  • If client is late for a session, unfortunately Teuta cannot extend the session to compensate for the missed time. All sessions start and end on time out of respect for other clients' time.
  • If client arrives early for a session, please assume that the session will start at the scheduled start time.
  • Cancellation fees will only be waived in the event of a medical emergency requiring urgent professional treatment, a death in the family, or natural disaster.
  • All cancellation fees will also apply in case the client requests Teuta, by email, to reschedule the session.

Payment

  • Teuta requires payment in full for all agreed-upon sessions before the start of the first session.
  • Teuta accepts payments via Bank Transfer.
  • Any fees such as International Bank Transfer fees will need to be covered by the participant.

4. COACHING PROGRAMS

The following terms and conditions are valid for all coaching programs organized by Teuta.

Registration

Participants are only fully enrolled after complete payment of the fee. After sending the subscription form they will receive an email confirming enrollment, including payment details.

Payment

  • All rates are in Euro (€) and exclusive of 21% VAT, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
  • Upon execution of this Agreement, client agrees to pay the full amount of the Fee to Teuta
  • Payment has to be done in advance, before the start of the coaching program
  • Payment in terms has to be done adhering strictly to the deadlines set by Teuta
  • Teuta accepts payments via Bank Transfer.
  • Any fees such as International Bank Transfer fees will need to be covered by the participant.

Cancellation Policy Coaching Program

  • Teuta reserves the right to cancel a program should there be insufficient enrollments or in case of illness/unavailability of the workshop instructor. If this occurs the program fee will be refunded to the participant in full, but no additional damages are paid to participants. In case only part of a program is cancelled then this part will be rescheduled.
  • Registration is binding. Teuta can not be held responsible for any activity missed because of participants' inability to attend due to transport delays, strikes, weather, injuries, illness, personal loss, or any other reason.
  • If client cancels attendance at, or participation in, the Program for any reason whatsoever, the Client will not be entitled to receive a refund.

Cancellation Policy Individual Coaching Sessions part of a program

  • Coaching sessions that are part of a coaching program have to be canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time via email to dance@teuta.be.
  • If client cancels within less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time, the coaching session expires and can not be rescheduled.
  • A new appointment always has to take place within the duration of the coaching program.
  • Clients who fail to show up for a scheduled appointment (“no show”) loose their coaching session and can not reschedule this session.

Limitation of Liability

  • By enrolling in the Program and using Teuta's services, client releases Teuta, its employees, affiliates and related entities from any and all damages that may result from the provision of the services to client
  • Client agrees that he/she accepts any and all risks, foreseeable or non-foreseeable, arising from such services.
  • Client agrees that Teutawill not be held liable for any damages of any kind resulting or arising from the provision of the services including but not limited to; direct, indirect, incidental, special, negligent, consequential, or exemplary damages happening from the use or misuse of Teuta's services or enrolment in the Program.
  • Client agrees that he/she uses Teuta's services at own risk and he/she will take complete responsibility for his/her results.

Intellectual Property

  • Client agrees not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Program (including program materials)
  • Teuta's copyrighted and original materials shall be provided to client for his/her individual use only.
  • Client is not authorized to share, copy, distribute, or otherwise disseminate any materials received from Teuta electronically or otherwise without the prior written consent of Teuta.
  • All intellectual property, including the Company’s copyrighted program materials, shall remain the sole property of the Company.
  • No license to sell or distribute Teuta's materials is granted or implied by the enrolment or by the payment of any fees.
